President's Note 

Mary Ann San Juan, the current President & CEO of Filipino Centre, Toronto from 2017 and serving her second term, was one of the founding members of FCT. She served as Secretary to the Board of Directors from 2000 to 2016. 

 

As a member of the Board of Directors, Mary Ann assisted in the establishment of the Homework Club in 2003. She also coordinated the Mentoring Partnership with Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC) in 2015.  She Chaired the Outstanding Students Awards from 2015-2016.
